The Two-Minute Rule

I was watching Graham Stephan and he had another video about time management and he said that whenever he needs to do something that takes two minutes or less he knocks it out right away because it is not worth setting a reminder for something that easy.

My issue is that I remember to do things when I am trying to accomplish something else.

Do I stop what I am doing to take care of the other thing and just hope to get back to it or do I finish what I started?

Setting reminders is great!

Do you have any time management tips that have been useful for you?

All I have to do is walk through a doorway, and I forget what I was going for. It's like the famous Greek orators trick in reverse.

Is walking through doorways backwards like running a car in reverse?

Why Walking Through Doorways Makes Us Forget

Well if a car is old enough and you run it backwards the odometer rolls backwards. Maybe it works the same for age if you were born before the 90's and walk backwards? sadly I was born at the latter end of 91 and would be excluded from this trick.

Fortunately, a new decade comes along every once in awhile.
