tjts1, Can you measure the width of the airdam? I don't want to get hit over the head with a purse by a soccer mom as i'm measuring the air dam in a walmart parking lot. I am looking for something about 66" wide. Of course, It doesnt need to be exact, plenty of room to play with.

I should clarrify that this isn't my car, its owned by someone else on a W201 specific forum. I think its a brilliant idea and maybe this air dam would work on other cars as well.
The W201 190d engine is an old style mechanical fuel injection setup from the 80s similar to the W123 cars. The main difference with these engines is that they are cross flow so yes it is just as suitable for WVO.
