Vegas Trip

Upcoming trip to vegas for the NASCAR races, and we are taking the civic again, although this year for the sake of saving money I took off the 17" ADR rims and went back to the stock 14" rims with the stock tire size to save on gas, I have also stolen Wonderboy's grill block idea, which i think he stole from someone else.

As of this morning i also put in a new air filter, fuel filter, and a fresh oil change with Mobil 1, drained tranny fluid, and put zf-1 in, so she should be ready to go, curious to see what i get for mileage with all the luggage weight.

Also I should point out that I wont be doing any fuel saving techniques on this trip other than feathering the throttle as much as possible, although I will have the grill block in place, so that and all the recent maintenance and decreased tire size are the only changes, I would like to experiment fuel mileage comparisons at all MPH ranges, but we will be on a tight schedule ...........maybe if the Wife falls asleep I'll give it a go!

Don' think this will be much of a fuel efficiency trip as we are pressed for time, and I have been going at or above the posted speed limit for the entire trip, drove 13 hours yesterday , and only yielded right around the EPA average with the grill block in place, I am considering taking it off for the return trip just to see if there is a significant difference at highway speed or not
