holypaulie - I hope you don't mind I copied your vid post (from http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...eels-7405.html) into this dedicated thread. It's threadworthy on its own!

You don't have a fuel log... what kind of fuel economy are you seeing? What difference from stock?

Nice !!!

Please do let us know what kind of FE changes that you see !

Thanks for posting the video. I love what you have done with the car - great use of the hood vents.

Pretty slick. I was definitely thinking about the front wheel well partial covers/extenders that you have on there. As long as the tire can turn, with suspension compression, they might as well be a mm away from the tire, right?

Hi Paul,

I really like what you've done, too! I'm envious of the color match you have, and your fabrication skills are commendable.

I wonder how the front wheel skirts could be made from (slightly) flexible rubber/plastic?

I'm with the others, the mods look great. Do you have any internal ducting for the cooling system?

Not a problem.
Stock MPG City: 27 Hwy: 35
Present MPG City: 32-35 Hwy: 40-45 at 55-60 mph (hot summer 45-48 MPG)

At the full wheel turn and full suspenion there is about 4 mm clearance. I've never hit my skirt though even at the speed bump.
