Visio.M, 2-seat, BEV, Cd 0.24

This car may have been posted already. It's a couple of years old now. A lightweight, 2-seat, BEV, with small battery pack, and range of around 99-miles.
They give it Cd 0.24. Pretty good for such a 'short' car. There's a nice quality color image of it undergoing smoke flow imaging in a wind tunnel. Easy GOOGLE: mediatum.ub.tum.de/doc/1254301/1254301.pdf

Here's the link. Interesting little car; it must be a lot smaller than the i3 to get the weight down so low. Here's a Car & Driver article with some background on the project.

Looks like a VW concept from 35 years ago at best.

The concept sketch in the PDF is great, why didn't they go with that?

The seats look super light weight, but not something I would want to be in for over an hour.

Most obese Americans would destroy such a seat and demand Big Glup sized cup holders as well.

In the side view on page 13, the seat bottom is level with the bottom of the door opening.

In case
of a side impact the affected seat is pulled
toward the center of the vehicle, moving
the passenger out of the immediate
danger zone. An airbag placed between
the seats keeps the passengers from
colliding into each other.
Wut?

I find it hard to believe that it's more aero than a 1st gen Insight. Those fender flares, especially.

I guess they're getting a pretty good amount of benefit from the EV low radiator/cooling air area and the very smooth underbelly EVs can have?

1) we'd want to measure the 1st-gen Insight in the same tunnel for calibration.
2) adding a cooling system could push the drag up to Cd 0.265.
3) mutilating the belly with the exhaust system might produce Cd 0.29.
4) CAR and DRIVER reported Cd 0.30 for Insight at the A2 Wind Tunnel.
