Follow up from previous thread

Hi All

as a follow up from my previous thread http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...elp-17782.html

I have found that filling just below the filler neck provides repeatable results so I have managed to calibrate.

And after following the calibration instructions I now have the following numbers:

new vss pulses = 127708
new microsec =1493884771

My injector delay is still set to 500.

Odd thing is, after calibrating the vss pulses, the mileage still doesnt match my dashboard (which is what I used to provide the odo readings. Not by much though, out by maybe 1.5miles per 100 miles). The very odd thing is the maths on my mpguino doesnt make sense, as per following pic:

I dont see how my tank is currently 23.06 mpg when I have used 1.31 gallons and have done 107.61 miles? Surley thats 82.1mpg

I will get there in the end!

1.75 I think. Im not in front of it at the moment.

Id rather not restart it as it will forget all my tank details If I have to though, I will go and do it in 15 minutes

dunno, that version is quite old. I would write your tank miles and gallons down and bounce it and note the version. Then add the miles and gallons in at next fillup. How are instant and current MPG? It is possible the code got wonky, the bootloader was good at that.

Hmm I will have a go then.

Current MPG seems to be pretty accurate ,indicated around 72 ish on the way to work (a 10 mile journey) this morning.

Instant also seems to be working accurately. heh, Wonkey code doesnt sound good Any way to fix?
