Hmm, would you be there during a weekend? It should be feasible for me to make a day trip there, if it's during the weekend. If so, then I could probably work something out, maybe go up with a friend and borrow their truck/SUV, etc... there are reasonable possibilities.

Yeah I'll be there for an extended weekend. It's pretty small, I fit it in the trunk of my civic. No need for a truck.

Ok. Well, May is still a ways off, so don't feel obligated to wait till then. But otherwise it looks like this is do-able, so if you're willing or able to wait till then, then I'm in!

My daily commute is largely highway going 70 mph or more, and despite having the tallest transmission that you could get for a 98 Civic, I still turn 3000+ RPM... so this would be a nice MPG boost!

I did have one question, just curious about checking the transmission. It sounds like it should be clean and in good shape, but since you didn't know the miles it might be worth just giving it a quick check (there are things you can check without actually opening it). I have a link to a thread here with suggestions (like checking the input shaft for looseness, etc):

I'll look into this once I have some free time. I wanted to take a picture of it but it slipped my mind when I was at the shop.

Yes someone rather local, Columbus area picked it up last Friday. Putting it in his Del Sol, along with a small turbo with low boost to. Also going for the ecomodder car.
