Want to DIY for brake systems

can anyone help?
I have searched everywhere nearby but am unable to find a suitable diagnostic device for brake systems, a dealer recommend me the V-CHECKER V102, but I don't want to purchase on the internet, I fear that there will be quality problems. does anyone have one or know where I would be likely to find one?

The parking brake or service brakes? Do you have disc or drums in the back? Automotive Braking was one of the few classes I passed in college I can try to help you as much as possible.

Many brake issues are not electrical and therefore don't need a scan tool. I did not understand your problem but I did find a diagnostic scan tool for anti-lock brake systems, which I think is what you are looking for.
