Which way would you install skibox

I dunno, i went on holidays last summer with a car full of gear, and i mean full. Roof box installed the standard way, bike beside it, standing up, doing 120kph and i still got 5.5L/100k over two weeks in a car that does 5.5 to 5.7L/100k normally without anything on the roof and mostly empty. go figure.
