I have been through LA a few times.
In the late 70's. I took a motorcycle trip that included just staying on the freeways to get through it.
My eyes started to burn from the smog. Very gross!!!
Another time, I was waiting on a street corner for a ride not too far ahead of dusk.
I literally could feel sticky @#%^ land on me almost like a very fine mist! Awful!!!!
