Very small planes still crashs a lot, at least it's the impression I got, since every pilot from such planes had a friend who died on aircraft.

AFAIR, the prototype looked quite similar to the production Sinclair trike; the changes were to the drive train.
There was another, pure pedal trike that was a proper tadpole, produced in Kent, WA USA. It had unusually small front wheels, but the prototype was as good a ride as many Greenspeed competitors. Then it came out with an "off road use only" warning, because the production guys had decided that plumb kingpins should be fine.

250 Watt motor? Might as well pedal at that point and not muck about with a battery and motor. If you're pedaling, you'd want a conventional bike because they are lightweight, cheap, efficient, and ubiquitous.
750 watt is the minimum motor power I would install on anything meant to move people meaningful distances, otherwise just pedal.

Currently in the news for divorcing his ex-lap dancer wife for an older girlfriend.

A healthy commuter will put out about 100 Watts, with occasional sprints at 3 or 4 times that, so 250 w is quite effective where it isn't larded down with heavier tires, etc.
The only excuse for pedals is for exercise on the go, since food production and use is less efficient than a solar-battery system. If you put in 250 Watts on a hand control, there is no incentive to pedal. However, if you make motor torque proportional to pedal torque, suddenly you feel like Bionic Superman, and are highly motivated and thoroughly encouraged. Commuters can use high boost on the way to work to avoid sweating, and then turn it down to burn off all the day's adrenalin on the way home.

The proposed price for this little Sinclair it's a absurd. The price of a popular 4 seats car.
Electric cars will never "save the world" with high prices !!!
About power... you can add a 1500w motor, but needs some artificial intelligence in the form of computer narrated messages like :
"You are too fat... you are weak and girlfriend hates your slim legs... your wife will change you for a stronger man... you are lazy and will die earlier with a poor heart.... you need to burn the 800 calouries you took on Macdonalds yesterday.... etc..."

800 calories at McDonalds? That's a between meals snack compared to what I normally consume when I visit (which is only about once per month, sadly).
I had thought about commuting on a hoverboard back when my drive was 6.5 miles and I was suffering a tire puncture every other ride on my bicycle. I think I finally determined that my tubes were meant for wider tires, and so they were getting pinched somewhere. Stores simply don't carry presta tubes in the narrow size required by my tires.

The woman his age that waited on the sidelines for seven years took him right back. Myself on the other hand...
