What industry do you work in?
While having a browse through the Daily Annoyances thread I noticed that lots of the posts were IT related, and it got me wondering if there are lots of IT people on here or if just it's an industry with lots of frustrations . I considered adding a poll but my brain is AWOL today and all I could think of was IT, manufacturing, and government.
To start off, I'm IT related, currently studying Network Engineering as a 4-year bachelors degree. Recently I've been doing some Mobile (iOS and Windows Phone 8) dev work so I can eat and occasionally put gas in my car.

I *used* to work in military/aerospace, designing data acquisition/analyses systems...basically "applied" IT, using PC computers and custom developed software programs.
I'm now retired.

I was an Investigator, Compliance Officer, National Computer Expert, and mid-level manager for the Food & Drug Administration. So I was in government regulatory and law enforcement, and a bit of IT. I retired some years ago.

Currently unemployed, but lurking to resume working as a freelancer mechanic. I was lurking to study aircraft maintenance, but I'll only be able to do so in the next year.
