What should US Travel Trailer makers do?

We used to own a pop up and went to a trailer for real comfort over a tent on wheels. You are right though, they are more economic to tow.

I somewhat agree with you Fat Charlie on the new Cherokee but Chrysler is the one saying 4500 pounds. I think it's the Grand Caravan that is under rated. If a glorified Dart can tow 4500 pounds the Grand Caravan should be good for the same or more. One reason we bought the 2008 Aspen was from 2004-2009 the Durango platform was body on frame and more similar to the 1500 Ram then anything else.
