What are your favorite UltraGauge/ScanGauge gauges?
My Ultragauge should arrive next week. Yea! Out of the many gauges that are available to display, what are the ones that experienced ecodrivers find most useful, particularly on the first screen?
Here's what I'm thinking , based on reading the user manual:
Average MPG
Instantaneous MPG
Instantaneous Gal/hr
% Engine load
Throttle Position
Coolant temp

rpm/inst mpg
cool temp/avg mpg
intake temp/engine load%
only reason for rpms is that my tach is about 300 off
and if i was in a 5spd i wouldn't have engine load% as above 98% my TC kicks out

Ultra gauge
screen 1
Instant MPG engine temp
start MPG start fuel used
tank average MPG Distance to empty
I would like to have %load but it gives nonsensical values for my car it's tough to get it to read over 40%.
screen 2
instant MPG engine temp
trip MPG trip fuel used
tank MPG distance to empty
screen 3
8 tank stats like average speed etc.
screen 4
8 trip stats average speed etc.
screen 5
RPM, airflow, speed, throttle position

Scangauge.
For diagnostics / health monitoring:
Coolant Temp
Volts
For mileage:
Trip Average - more enlightening than instant mpg. Keep it moving up and you'll end up with a good result.
Engine Load (but I'm finding TPS more useful in this specific car.)

Instant mpg, trip mpg and short trip mpg: for the moment, the tank and the current trip.
Coolant temp.
