What's the Cheapest you've EVER Paid for Gas?

The best I can remember, when I started driving gas was around 77 cents a US gallon. Your turn.

I started buying gas during a price war — 25¢/gallon. When it went back up to 27¢ I was outraged.

...later I started thinking that was kind of funny. Allowing for inflation, that would be $2.10 today. A gallon is the same size, but the dollars are getting smaller.

Paid $1.51/gal today at Sam's Club in Huntsville, AL. I've only been driving since 2012 so sub $2.00/gal gas is not something I've often experienced.

Far into the future, your great grandkids' eyes will pop out when you tell them that and they will ask, "What's gas, Grandpa?"

Yep, just look up "inflation-adjusted gas price".

If you shop at grocers that offer it. We generally shop Aldi and Kroger
