Hello there from germany!

Hi everybody,

I have been a passive reader of ecomodder over the past 2 years and tried one or two driving techniques out on my past cars which worked wonders on my daily commute.

During summer i was rewarded for getting my 2015 Hyundai i10 1.2 all the way down to 4.96l/100km / 47.4 MPG (spot on with european fuel economy rating). Especially good since my daily one way drive is only 11 km/ 6.8 miles. With colder temperatures however I saw it going down to as bad as 5.82 l/100km / 40.4 MPG.

So now I am no longer cutting corners and start doing some actual mods. I thank you all for gathering here and may my journey start

Welcome, Eisberg!

I like your car - somewhat similar to my Mirage 1.2L

With such a short drive, a coolant heater would be something good for you to investigate.
