I'm sorry this is a rabbit trail off the subject slightly, but I saw this graphic on the back window on a pickup yesterday: It shows like 3 ducks flying with text next to it that
says: " If it flies; it dies!!!!" Heavy duty hunter talk.....Hate to be that guy's
neighbor, and fly a kite that meanders over HIS property!!!!

<------ Have a nice day

Wrote that in the dust on the hatch one day. People were civil that day, usually they're not. It seems anything i write on the back will stop tailgaters. I wrote "I survived the Mayan Apocalypse" on the back, and i had a 3 car length cushion all the way home.

On my first motorbikes top case I had a 'I love pinball' sticker. That worked like magic. Somehow the combination of bikes and pinball scares people.

Only in the dark it did not help, but then I could push the center stand down to the tarmac to release two rows of sparks. That made them slam the breaks for sure. Only did that when there were no other cars around, just the gator.

Later in life the bike started to leak oil at higher revs, releasing black smoke from the pipe. I could just shift down a gear or two and watch them struggle to clear their windscreen again.
It also had an 'I fill up with Shell Pura' sticker. Wonder if that helped sales.

I've seen some that say something like,

"Keep on honking - I'm re-loading"

also,

"Caution - driver flicks boogers"

and along similar lines,

"Caution - driver chews tobacco"

I'm on the hunt for one that read "55 alive" back when they had the big senior citizen safety campaigns years ago.

My prius came with a license plate that said
'My Other Car Doesn't Get 50mpg'
but the bottom part broke off about a year ago, now it just says,
"My Other Car"

EDIT : Sorry folks. I posted this in the wrong bumper sticker thread .

Decades ago, the Texas Department of State Troopers put out a bumper sticker that read " The Texas Department of State Troopers says DON'T drink & drive !
They wanted to make an impact and had the " DON'T " printed in red.

As any graphic artist knows, red fades before blue.

After a few months, they had hundreds of cars that had bumper stickers that read " The Texas Department of State Troopers say .....drink and drive !

FAIL !
