What's up with this Prius ?

Hi,
I was looking for side skirt idea this morning, and found Orange4boy's prius thread
. I was shocked by his prius; I mean, it look great (to me anyway)!! The prius I'm used to see look like the image below, and I never ever saw a prius looking like orange4boy's one.

Up, the usual prius
Down, Orange4boy's prius

So, what's up, and where and I get one of these !

thanks.

He has the 1st generation Prius, which was made from 96-2004 in Japan and 00-04 in the US and Canada, but didn't sell many units since the tech was largely unproven and Toyota didn't do as much work pushing it.

The first gen prius looks a lot like the same year Ford Focus.

I think the 1st gen was based on the Echo platform.

He he. Practical Performance Car magazine here in the UK bought a 1st gen Prius as they have a 'put a V8 in it' policy of modification and they wanted to annoy George Monbiot.

Then they realised nobody would know it was a Prius and not get the, er, joke.
