Wheel dust shields

These are being sold as brake dust shields but they look like they would also work as an inner wheel cover of sorts, improving aerodynamics (though not as much as moon disks) while keeping the car's original appearance.

What do you think?

Kleenwheels do a great job of keeping the wheels clean...at the expense of increased brake temperatures which can lead to premature wear. From an aerodynamic standpoint, I don't think they'd help as much as smooth wheel covers.

Is the cost much less than a set of Moon Disc?

My steel wheels wouldn't be that bad, if the holes were blocked.
Instead of taping them over, Kleenwheels could do the blocking from the inside.

.

Don't have to worry about the brakes heating up, since I'm DWB a lot anyways.
