wheel skirts and drag for 1936 Adler

Here's a pictorial drag table I put together for a streamlined Jaray-bodied 1936 Adler.
The data is from Alex Tremulis

So, three counts difference in drag by having skirts at the rear versus the front ?

Looks like the guys running at Bonneville could certainly use that info :

That appears to be a '77. The rear of the car has the flying buttress design, so it's a mess anyway.

It seems backward. Isn't most of the turbulence around the front wheels?

Bonneville remains mostly an amateur undertaking and even today,there's a lot of misunderstanding about airflow.So just because it's running out there,shouldn't imply that it's idealized for flow,or optimized for flow.
