I haven't had a diesel to play with in a while, will have to get rid of the metro though But 4 doors is nice, probably handles better, and this opens up some bio options, and gets 47 without even trying

Nice ride. How many miles? How much did you get it for? Is it stock?

Lot of miles (quarter million) so I will have to check it out thoroughly (start with brakes/bearings). Paid $3.5k (trade in value). Probably stock. Title was from VW finance so previous owner probably bought it new, and probably spent a lot of time on the hiway.

Hopefully it has the fuel consumption signal and I can rig up a mpguino (and a kill switch on the shifter). But no major plans beyond that, least until I learn more about it. It's a wee bit more complicated than my 82 diesel rabbit was
