Why Aussies want their autonomous rides

Faster commute? Safety? Energy efficiency? costs? An Australian survey asked 5,000 Aussies for their expectations of autonomous vehicles, the polling showed they want them when they are bored, tired or drunk.
The Australian Driverless Vehicle Initiative, ADVI | Australian Driverless Vehicle Initiative | ADVI IN THE NEWS Surveyed Australians over the age of 18 and found issues like safety, cybersecurity, and cost are major issues that need to get addressed but a majority liked the idea of using autonomous vehicles when they were tired, when driving is monotonous or boring or if they had used alcohol or drugs.
Makes sense.
Aussies want driverless cars for when they're tired, bored or drunk

Waaaaa! Hate driving because effort. Also can't dislodge ass from couch cushions- need voice recognizing speakers in house for relief from effort and strain of turning switches on and off.
