why are content creators purposely ensh@tifying videos

why are content creators purposely ensh@tifying videos

I’m not talking content which is already bottom rung or audio that uses one of the 2 freeware AI voices, no

I’m talking the multitude of “unreal “ videos usually with a fixed camera on one person that rambles about something or does a simple task but the video is blurry (right on the edge of unwatchable) with strange lighting that would be impossible to replicate in real life.

Usually these are on fbook or TikTok shorts and they at a quick glance look like they were shot on a low end 90’s webcam but they clearly aren’t with the smooth silk as evidence of a pro gear camera with an uneven level of blur applied across along with artificial lighting points added that aren’t possible in real life.

My best guess is somebody is trying to conceal extensive use of cheap body morphing filters with artificial blur or ????

Once you notice this you can’t unsee the tells that it’s not just a mediocre quality video which would have grain and other tells from being out of focus, nope 10’s of thousands of videos have someone in post wasting time to reduce video quality in perplexing and strange ways on what I would consider short nothing videos made to appear to be in a room in a house.

The strange part is the I started noticing this trend 3 or 4 years ago when video quality on everything even the most ammature was decent clarity, suddenly a lot of blurry stuff in FHD started showing up and has gotten more common.

Not sure if this is a trend or??? Don’t know why you would want to publish blurry content that runs the edge of intolerable to look at.

I haven’t really seen what you’re talking about. I’ve never had any interest to create a TikTok account. I have Facebook but i rarely get on it
Facebook must have blacklisted me or something. why?? i dont know. it only shows me dumb stuff and the AI generated images of mutilated cats, dogs, and Jesus. it won’t let me get on marketplace, Facebook groups or see my friend’s posts. I’ve given up on it.

I used to really enjoy the Internet, but now it’s more of a nuisance. I used to be able to find a lot of informational websites but now it seems to be all goofy stuff and spam fighting desperately to get my attention and money.

Dead Internet theory
The dead Internet theory is an online conspiracy theory that asserts that, due to a coordinated and intentional effort, the Internet now consists mainly of bot activity and automatically generated content manipulated by algorithmic curation to control the population and minimize organic human activity. Get yourself a decent self monitoring browser, most anymore allow all kinds of trash in an effort to make money. I'm running Opera fully throttled down, but there's others. Might be an annoying install in windows machines anymore.

I have seen a few of these. I just figured it was ai generated click bait junk. The quality always looks like a vhs copy of a bootleged copy. Maybe someone figured out people will watch a trash video for several more seconds if they make it really blurry, leaving the audience waiting for the buffering to clear up the images or figure it out with their own eyes.

This was proven during the china virus plandemic. It was very clearly bot generated click bait was everywhere to push the narrative. Playing with the search words a little would yield word salad articles articles exactly mimicking the wording in your search.
