That bot initially went under my radar, but it said such generic stuff that contributed nothing of substance to conversation that I figured nobody would take the time to write it.

I looked at the post history, and it made like 10 posts in 1 minute. So my sense that nobody would take the time to write it was confirmed.

I wondered that too.

If I were learning how a LLM bot works, I would be tempted to employ it in areas where humans engage in dialogue and observe the results. Those results might inform what to do with such technology, or how to improve it.

Experiment somewhere fairly innocuous until unleashing it for the intended purpose.
