Wiring MPGuino and Vac gauge to a Civic VX...

Hey guys,
I'm going to try and install a MPGuino and Autometer Vac guage on my VX this weekend. Can anyone please counsel me here on the easiest way to wire in all of the connections for each (including wire colors and/or ECU pin #'s) for a 92 Civic VX?

I've searched and see lots of ways to do these connections. Some seem cleaner/easier than others, but I'm hoping for some clarity here on which way is best (not just fastest).

For the vac gauge, I have a good thread to reference on where to pull the vacuum, but I still need help on wiring up the illumination. I want the gauge light to come on when the dash lights turn on.

Probably the easiest way to wire illumination is to purchase an add a fuse line from Autozone. You can use a factory fuse spot like your headlights for example, and use the add a fuse kit to feed off of that plug for the power source for illumination.

I apologize but I'm not knowleadgable on the mpguino, I have wired in a vafc which taps wire off of the ecu harness which is under the passengers side lower kick panel in front of the door.
