Its a shame the EPA are awkward as the C02 ratings on our euro diesel are sooooooo tiny 99-129 g/km

p.s. for the record run I think they ran dish wheels on the record run

Thumbs up

Um, I'd take this with a gas engine ... maybe the Honda B 1.5 or 1.6 liter inline 4.

And yes, I want solid-faced front wheels and rear wheel skirts.

if you want a gas one - by a lotus elise/exige!!! same car just different panel and you get a toyota banger in nthe back which is good for 45+MPGus, I'm sure some one on here MUST be able to build up as set of glass fibre panels

I wish I had an electric version of this with the same aero and low weight parts...

If the Tesla Roadster's motor and battery pack were slipped into this, it would easily exceed 400 miles per charge at 70 mph(if it had thick, sticky, non LRR tires), and with a two speed transmission properly designed with the 1st gear for 0-80 mph and the second one for top speed, it would probably exceed 190 mph... given that the weight of the vehicle would be increased to around 2,200 lbs with that battery pack, 0-60 mph would still be around 3 seconds flat since it would be a fair bit lighter than a Tesla Roadster...
