If you're just looking to do side windows I'd strongly consider DIY. The $ saved on installation could get better film on more windows.
Well I just tried PnG for renewed effort in keeping my car. Holy ****. Driving really does count. 150 miles. 10% city driving. Now here is where it differs: I usually PnG where I also cut the engine off in town and try not to ever hit the brakes or full stop at a stop light, then hop on the interstate and drive a steady 70mph and I usually average 40mpg flat.
Well... I tried something different this time. The morning drive i did the same extreme PnG through morning traffic to get on the interstate, then once I got on the interstate I PnG from 77 to 62 in an effort to not piss off too many people since traffic is heavier and the speed limit is 65-70, then once I get to my work town I did the extreme PnG once again, come back to the interstate, and the 5pm commute home I PnG from 71 to 55.
Tank returned 59mpg over 150 miles!
So effort has renewed! It's more of a game now more than anything.
So I figured i'd just deal with the oil consumption since I calculated out even with the current cost of gas and oil consumption to have a cheaper trip than an all electric car you only have to average 54mpg (since the mpg-e equiv of a gallon of gas is $4.044 it's really not hard to do with 1.97 gas).
I also figured i'd get over my hatred of tint and just get 3m crystalline 50%, then finish out the other side windows and rear window with cheaper 3m ceramic 50% tint (also crystalline and ceramic 3m tint ain't cheap and I dont want to risk ****ing them up). I already have a cheapo non heat rejecting 5% brow and it does it job so I figured i'd just keep.
Also, I checked with everything i've replaced on the car (just about everything) i'm only 1700 into the car with the only things left being: paint, ring job, tint, hood and fender, and like two others but I don't have my list with me. So the car is almost complete. I just lost hope for a second because of the unrelenting oil consumption and 40mpg driving 25k/yr. I might even start my mpg meter on here and see if I can hit the top list. I feel fully integrated now. haha
