Not fuel injected but I think my brothers '85 CRX HF is going to be up for sale, 120,000 miles on the engine, new timing belt, runs great, I suspect he wants $900 or so for it.

the first thing I'd do with any carb'd CRX is delete every vacuum line under the hood.
The emissions crap they put on there is probably worthless after this long anyway, and the vacuum lines are a known trouble point.

I haven't found a single vacuum line that is worthless on this car, they control things like the warm air intake, fuel cut off while coasting in gear, cold start enrichment and are part of how it ended up getting over 50mpg because they are part of the system that helps to regulate the lean burn and it's not hard to repair or replace the hoses, there is a sticker on the underside of the hood that maps them all out clearly.

Check eBay for a 5th gear set from an HF. You can swap it in if you can't find an HF trans, and that will still get you somewhere.
