Injector cut off switch neg or pos?

Howdy. I'm confused, I want to manually cut of one injector, but do I wire switch to the positive side or negative side of the injector? Thanks all

That's a interesting idea , i do not know the answer but I like the question

Its possible to put in smaller injectors then stock (in some cases) to de tune some hp out of the car. Making it more of a gutless wonder for better fuel economy.

My motor has the small sized injectors , from stock, 90hp motor the next year they increased injector size and hp climbed to 110hp

Most of them are grounded to function, with the CPU providing the ground. Interrupt the power or the ground will work in either case. Not sure about CELs or which way might avoid activation of the Check Engine Light (CEL).

That's neat idea. Yeah, smaller injectors would be pretty. Imagine they may require some ecu tuning of some kind

I think with a injector swap it would need to be done at the shop so they tune the new injectors.
The ecu / turbo setting etc. should be tuned also, maybe even for sport ?
The ecu tries to keep the car in Stoic but it has variables and is not so smart. With my tuning box i can set it and run around pushing soot , and the ecu does not reset anything it lets it smoke happily away.

Here's a good explanation by someone who does his own injector swaps , although he is going bigger. I wanted to refresh myself on the procedure and found the info below
