No, you didn’t read it incorrectly, they actually got 2,843 MPG. As I reported earlier, some of these competitions can net upwards of 7,000 MPG. However, somewhat unfortunately, those kinds of numbers haven’t been seen in the Shell Americas Eco-Marathon yet.
