Good numbers. Glad your SG was close, too.

Yeah - 2 miles isn't enough of a warmup. I generally warm things up for at least 20 minutes at highway speeds (50 mph / 80 km/h) before I'll try a comparison test.

yeah just seems like such a waste of gas lol and I should have tested on the highway too so next time I test something I will shoot for more reliable results in the mean time I finished my lower grill block so I think the next thing i will do is build an air dam

also removing and putting belts onto a hot engine isn't that much fun...

If you have it on your gauge, monitor your intake temperatures as well as your engine temperatures for the test. On my Toyota Celica, the intake temperature is a BIG part of the current MPG I am getting, and it seems to constantly creep up the longer I drive. I seem to get best MPG around 110F-ish, going down as the temperatures get much higher or lower.

will do next time I test! and maybe I need a warm air intake.. it hardly ever gets much over 85 here. also off topic I wonder what kind of mpg drop i will see when i move to Colorado and go from 400 ft elevation now to 10,200 ft ha we will see..
