I've always imagined an ellipse being drawn in at the rear. The car looks good from an aerodynamic viewpoint in my opinion.

kach22i,

Thanks for template overlay. I've been trying to envision a boat tail mounted to only a junkyard hatch. I lack the skills to see it through though.

I've owned many hatchbacks and this Fiesta collects more dirt on the back end than any other I've ever had. Is this a good thing or bad?

As to the OP, my last fill was 57.01 mpg (US).

Canada uses numbers which are sometimes even more optimistic than EPA pre-08. If anyone is interested here is the FE page of the Canadian government: Fuel Consumption Ratings | Office of Energy Efficiency
You'll need to convert from L/100km to MPG-US...
If you're lazy, Google can help you. Just type __L/100km in mpg.

Plus, sometimes automakers in Canada are sneaky and they convert the already optimistic Canadian figure into Imperial MPG and claim huge numbers like 59mpg highway.

Don't forget that Canada uses imperial gallons which are bigger than the gallon used in the USA.
