Thumbs up Blocked my lower grille today

on my Elantra HD, with a piece of black foamboard and 6 black tie-wraps.

I put it behind the grille so it's almost invisible, the coolant temp is almost the same, about 87°C and it's about 15°C outside today, so in winter at -20°C I think it will help to keep my engine warm.

Yes, it would be a little more aerodynamic to have a smooth bumper, but what you have now is a stealth aeromod that doesn't impact the appearance of the car at all. Nice work. I bet you can leave it installed year round.

But I don't like the look, and I'm not sure it makes a difference, once the air is compressed in the hole, the coming air just slide on it I think, it should be simulated on a computer!
