Code de la sécurité routière

The right-hand side mirror is not mandatory in Québec.

Hope this helps !

When I was student I had a mazda 323 that didn't had a passenger side mirror, it was an option.

Interesting fact, my father bought a first gen civic in the 70's and passenger mirror was only in the highest model.

New mods!

Yes, recently we decided to cutoff the power-steering belt to minimise engine hp loss. Then, we removed the parking brake switch so the DRL doesn't start when we lower the hand brake. (Only little problem, parking brake light is always on )

With these two mods, we recently achieved 3.5 LHK (67.4 MPG us) when returning from quebec city and from Béthanie. This is close to our next goal : 70 MPG us (3.36 LHK) !

Beated! New highscore established by Echo-Francis with 3.2 LHK (73.5 MPG us) when returning from south of Montreal. Following a truck who was hauling a boat at maybe ~85 km/h, so it help reducing drag.

Very impressive.

Can you quantify the power steering delete's mileage gain?

Sorry of this is not posted on the correct place but it's the only ones on the mods for tire spats and contoured Deflector so I have a question about how to design the tire deflectors. Does it need a special design or placement? Or just a plastic cover over the front of the wheel? I see you made a different design on the back, but I don't know what's the best design.

Thanks.

i did not test my tire spats so i dont know wich design is the best but i think its the design i made for the back but its harder to do . and tire spats have to be placed just at the front of the tire
