Fisker's cars are so very pretty

And Fisker himself is actually a good guy. I had the chance to meet him last week. Unlike Tesla's Elon Musk whose job only seems to be running around calling his critics "douchebags" and "idiots," Fisker is actually a car guy who is involved with the designs of the company.

The solar panels are mainly for powering accessories.

Fisker told me that a week in the sun would get you 8 miles of charge out of the batteries.

8 miles! That's what you get for building a power hog

That's in fact one thing that bothers me about the "sexy" commercial EV's being developed. They're still gluttons, relatively speaking.

Yes, I agree. But it's also more charging of the battery than the toyota prius panels will done (which is none).
