How well do you think this would work?

how well do you think this would work as a kammback? It mounts to the factory wing and the glass would still be fully functional.

Only new to this,
but according to what I have read and seen, the angle on both top and sides should slope down and in a bit more to narrow the rear end.

It appears to be adequately boat-tailed but also it appears it could be angled down a bit more. Also if the sides extended all the way down the supports it should be a bit better, but maybe not enough to matter. I'd have to leave it up to them to report if it helps or not.

He could tape over those stupid bumper vents and put the rear wheels back in the wheelwells too.

I don't think he's going for gas milage with that, the pic was just for a referance of the wing. I think its decent looking and wondered if I could make it functional for mileage

I'd say it would be a good mileage device if it was angled down a bit more.

Angle that baby way down, insert a plexi window in it if vision backing is critical.

I would call this position "c", it is in between a and b. It is as neutral as you can get.

Position "a" is more down force.

Position "b" is more aero but has some upforce.

This is a FWD car, I think they found the correct angle for track use.

I think Kach has the best answer here with an illustration. Larry's "Way down" comment is "Way off". We can't in one breath say "Follow the Template" and in the next say "Go way below it". I see the Fit and other cars have a distinct (but still subtle) drop below template at the very end of the shape, this is why I feel Kach has a great understanding and answer to the issue of a smallish Kamm here.
