Just picked up an '89 metro!!!

Yay!! I'm quite excited to start modding.

The metro has 113k on it and drives great. I got it for a steal (I think) at $900.

Right away I'm taking off the side mirrors and back seat today.

I think I'll also put some synth oil in... anyone have the specs on the 89 (type and quantity needed)??

I may also do the back wheel well skirts too... though probably not this weekend. LOL

Any other quick and easy out-of-the-gate suggestions for mods I can do to boost the mpg's (not driving tech... but actual mods)??

5W30 oil for the Metro. I use regular oil myself, but it's up to you. I don't think it effects MPG on a measurable scale.
