3 ?'s (SuperMID; cruise control for Metro)

Probably easy ones too,

1. Will a SuperMID M1 work in a 1994 Geo Metro?

2. If so where can I buy one?

3. Is there a cruise control that would be fairly easy to install in for the 1994 Metro?

I found a Geo Prizm Cruise control on ebay....would it work?

1. Prolly
2. From yoshi, or mehbe from us in the future
3. I don't know if a prizm control would work, but perhaps you could hack it in

Sorry! I forget we don't all know yoshi sometimes. He's a rather cheerful japanese guy who designed the smid himself. I think he's selling them for $160 right now, so if you're serious I'll ask him if it's okay to give out his email address.

a Geo Prizm is a Toyota, a Geo Metro is a Suzuki, I don't think it would easly work, I've talked to people who put "universal" cruse control on metros before and had them work ok, but the engine apparently is small enough that the lack of engine vacuum doesn't always keep the cruse control on, a small vacuum tank and a check valve could fix this.
I would love to see a group order or something of Super MIDs, I would buy one if I knew how.

Pillzilla - I installed an aftermarket cruise control on my Metro. Got it used on eBay for somewhere around $50 (I think - been a while).

Took me about an afternoon to figure out how to put it in.

Hi,

I'm new on here and have been looking for an accurate MPG gauge for weeks Any chance of a contact for Yoshi?

I have a Citroen AX 1.1i that is currently doing 52 mpg (UK). I'd like to improve on that!

I used to be a vehicle calibration engineer for Ford UK working on diesel car emissions, economy, driveability & performance calibration.

Steve
