Meet another EM'er today

I was in KC for a day and had the chance to hook up with RH77. He picked me up in his Honda insight with 10k miles on it. After giving me the grand tour we headed off for a nice lunch.

Then we descided to have a friendly FE competion on a 5 mile loop or so with rolling terrain. I'm impressed with the car and was throughly schooled in ecomodding the beast. RH77 pulled some good numbers (mid 60) out of it with the sub 0 temps.

Martin (Tasdrouille) and I did the same thing when we arrived early at the Green Grand Prix last year.

It was great to meet up again! I will admit, I had a full charge beginning my competition loop, and inadvertently left Laz a couple bars short on charge I'll call it a tie

It's a valuable experience to meet-up with fellow EM'ers -- if you ever have the chance, I highly recommend it. It's like an Eco-Driving lesson, you can always learn something new and have fun too.

By the way, one of these days, I'll get around to writing the one-year review of the Insight. I (only) drove it 10K miles in the first year, which was mostly offset by work rentals and using Teggy for long-hauls and extended parking.
