Why do you visit Ecomodder

This was asked deep in another thread and I wondered what the majority of visitors reasons are. I think there will be too many answers for a poll but if I see a trend I might add one.


So why do YOU visit Ecomodder.com?

4) entertainment!!!

I first came here when I got my first Geo Metro and was intrigued by the fuel mileage. I keep coming back because it's a good community.

1) advice on mpg (stumbled into this site when I first started looking for mpg tips)
2) advice on tech stuff (nothing better than talking to guys who already did it or fixed it on the same kind of car)
3) mpg tracking info (awesome idea)
4) friendly competition pushes you to improve (nothing like seeing someone get 65mpg to say, hey I can get at least 50)

1. it's a lot of fun to see how others are getting dramatically better fuel economy.
2. it's a great place to keep up with my gas mileage.
3. I want to learn something, and I try not to be too narrow minded to flatter someone else by imitation aka: steal their ideas and try them myself :-)
