I seldom do that, and if I do, it's for mistakes that the person makes because they don't understand the word or grammar rule, not because they are typing in a hurry. For instance, somebody saying 'supposably' instead of 'supposedly' is doing so because they don't know the right word. Chances are they'll continue to use that word in their casual and business speech until they're corrected. On the other hand, I'm more liberal with commas than I should be when I'm writing casually, so I don't harp on others for similar mistakes.
Other mistakes I see a lot of on the Internet that grind my gears: mixing up "populace" and "populous", "should of" instead of "should have" and "a myriad of" (even though that has been accepted into the English language, it still irks me.)
