The transmission in the Electro-Metro is actually not the original, but rather a second one that I picked up at a salvage yard.

One reason why I got a good deal on the car originally was that it couldn't shift - the clutch plate was all messed up.

I also found out later that there was a bad bearing as well. Unfortunately, I had already modified the transmission before I found that out.

That means that I have a spare transmission with a bad bearing that is really only useful for spare parts.

I'll take a look at it and see if maybe providing Darin with parts is actually the highest and best use for the thing anyways.
