I haven't had trouble with ice or snow on mine.
Also, it takes removal of 6 screws to get the tire off - only have to remove the bottom ones and the wheel maneuvers out. I've only had to do this once when I got a nail in my tire. I should rotate them soon though, thanks for reminding me!
