There's a bit of that pink stuff and I can see some tiny shiny bronze filings at one corner of the sump. Also you can clearly see through the crack which caused the leak.
Picking up the transaxle tomorrow or Wednesday! It arrived at my friend's studio this morning. It will be interesting to compare the two sumps.
I guess I should check for an oil test lab close by. Finning has one, I think. Will have to call for a price.
