MG1 leads are the ones from the circular connector on the right of the inverter. The leads at the rear are for MG2.

Either my multimeter is not sensitive enough to read the resistance on the windings or they are shorted and read 0 resistance. What range should they show. My meter goes from 2k to 20m.
I spent yesterday getting the carport ready. It's still under construction so I'm going to be working on sheets of 3/4 inch hardwood form ply. Smooth and clean. The Elec-Trak has been in use for spreading the new load of gravel on our driveway and will also be the car tractor to move the Prius into place. I don't know how we managed without it.

More bars!
Playing around with the Prius today, the display showed main battery half full (4-5 bars). Last time I checked it was only one or two bars. Huh? I'm happy because the car has now been sitting for two and a half months and I'm worried about the main battery getting too low. Seems OK so far. Outside temp is a lot colder.
Fuel gauge shows one blinking bar. I added about two gallons but it hasn't changed. I will probably add some more to see if it changes. It is on a slight downslope.
It has the best stock stereo of any car I've ever owned.

The State of Charge (SOC) is a function of temperature. It is possible that when the car 'gave up the ghost,' it was running at normal speeds and had a good charge on the traction battery. Mostly, it takes care of itself.
There are reports that at least 3 gallons are needed to get the fuel tank to register the new value but mostly for the NHW20. I've never really studied it for the NHW11 so I don't really know. Since you put in 2 gallons, you're good to go.

Moving the Prius into the carport with the Elec-Trak.

There's a nice symmetry in that video.
Nice slicker. The heavy rain warning in BC was on the national news tonight.

Did you catch that break in the time-space continuum?

Thanks for the news flash.
Good old national news... still gets their reports by steam locomotive.
Actually, there is a small creek running around the perimeter of the Prius. The unfinished catchment. As usual, I will have to be hyper careful to avoid fluid spillage. I will also have to be careful nothing falls into my gills as I work under the car.

Some things that should not be beautiful are really beautiful...They are a symbol of dark forces at work... Like the steel filings from a transaxle sump magnet:
Beautiful and terrible.
Or the runoff from a Sudbury nickel mine tailing pond as photgraphed by artist, Edward Burtynsky:

The small, pinkish bits are probably sealant that cracked or broke off. But I agree, pretty in a car-crash sort of way.

There's a bit of that pink stuff and I can see some tiny shiny bronze filings at one corner of the sump. Also you can clearly see through the crack which caused the leak.
Picking up the transaxle tomorrow or Wednesday! It arrived at my friend's studio this morning. It will be interesting to compare the two sumps.
I guess I should check for an oil test lab close by. Finning has one, I think. Will have to call for a price.
