Planned mods for this year:

-Lower the truck 4 inches in front and 6 inches in back - but with adjustable air suspension so I can get the height/capacity back when I need it - not only to lower the aero profile, but also make it easier to load (not to mention easier for older clients to climb into the cab)

-Once I can afford it, replace the transmission with one that has over drive to lower highway RPMs

I won't venture a guess as to how much those two changes will get me, but it would be nice if I could turn my current maximum into my new average
I didn't really think it would be realistic with just those mods...
but
as it turns out

I met my goal without even doing either of them.
Last tank just over 30mpg with normal mix of city and highway driving, some hilly terrain, and using the truck as a truck.
Turns out the secret ingredient was pulse and glide (which works a lot better after all my aero mods)

Having met my resolution the 3rd month into the year, now what am I gonna do for the rest of it?
