Wow. Well, before I got the battery pack monitor, I reversed cells in a couple of batteries (2 or maybe 3).
When reversal happens, I believe you're effectively charging that cell at whatever amperage you're drawing from the pack at the moment. (For me, that could be anywhere from typically 75-200+ amps!) Which means that battery is going to get awfully warm, awfully quick plus it'll likely be gassing like crazy and building pressure in the case. POW! :O
