For my 2007 Accent I am looking to make a grille block (perhaps in autumn?), get new spark plugs (part of my regular maintenance but hey, it would probably help), and perhaps create some sort of belly pan.

I am also hoping to get a 40mpg tank this summer. Last summer my best was 37mpg but that was before I knew a lot of the eco-modding techniques and before I had a scangauge, plus I used A/C.

Do modifications such as a grille block or belly pan create any warranty worries? I know they shouldn't but say something were to go wrong in the engine in the next 5 years....could they just look and see a grille block and then be like "aha! You made a modification, you voided your warranty!" If there's even a remote chance of that sort of thing happening, I might just wait to do those mods until much later.
