I agree completely. There's a reason I buy Honda/Acura vehicles. I goes against my argument, but for that big of an investment (and how long we drive the same car) it has to be rock-solid from the start. Of the countless Domestics I rent for work, the abuse of others accelerates the aging process. I wouldn't buy anything but maybe the previous-generation Malibu from GM. Everything else has fallen apart in some form or fashion. I wish it weren't true, but it is. Stats back it for those who doubt it.

EDIT: Rubbermaid used to be headquartered in Wooster, Ohio. I would often drive past their HQ on the way to visit family near Akron, during college. Since then, lights out. We were proud of the local manufacturing giant, but now it has left Ohio. I guess I did too. The rust-belt continues...
