Aside from the fact that EcoModder sells the SG2 (so, some obvious built-in bias), the things I like most about the ScanGauge are the intangibles:

- the first generation ScanGauge played a pivotal role in stoking my interest in ecomodding, since it permitted me to start testing mods, so I'll reward them with my business.

- the inventor/owner of the company is friendly, accessible & responsive

- it's a product made in the US rather than China

Those are my reasons for voting SG2.

I realize most consumers don't give rat's rear about those kinds of intangibles - it's all about the moolah.

If the Ultragauge doesn't develop some major bug/shortcoming, I fully expect it to continue eating the ScanGauge's lunch, unless Linear Logic releases a product at a similar price point. ( wink )
